Joku-Leku frontoia

We could say that this small fronton is the most charming fronton in Gipuzkoa, because of its size it is not possible to play big games there, but it is undoubtedly in the childhood imagination of many Zumarragatarras remembering the hours they have spent playing there. This is not its only function, as it is also known as the church of San Gregorio.

It was standing in 1540. In the first centuries it was known as Santa Engracia, but in the 18th century it began to be called San Gregorio. Since then it has been known by the latter name.

It is a rectangular temple with a gabled roof. It is made of exposed masonry, with the exception of the masonry and brick wall located at the foot of the church. On one of the sides there is a portico with a wooden structure supported by several pilasters. On this side there is a door formed by voussoirs. The interior consists of three naves with two rows of three pilasters on each side. The epistle has five bays.
