This route will allow you to learn about the recent history of Zumarraga, linked to the intensive industrialisation process that the District of Alto Urola underwent during the 20th century. In this regard, the iron and steel sector played an important role in the area, with particular mention of the company founded by Esteban Orbegozo in 1930, under their first business name of Fumistería del Norte (stove manufacturer).
