The nature that surrounds us offers us character and personality. The Antio-Beloki Nature Route is a route that can be done in peace and quiet; a route that can be done alone, with friends or with the family, that will take you through the history of Zumarraga while you walk in a wonderful setting.

^
PUNTO 1

Area dedicated to the Torre Legazpi House

The route can start at the Azoka or in the La Antigua area. From now on you will find
information panels along the route. Each point is dedicated to a local monument.

^
PUNTO 2

Area dedicated to railways (360º)

The rails on the ground are part of the track that used to be the Urola train; an indicator of the past. Along with the information panels you will find totems, scan the QR codes.

^
PUNTO 3

Area dedicated to industry: metallurgy (360º)

This point is the one that has had the greatest impact on the history of Zumarraga. Here you will learn about the industrialisation process and the history of
metallurgy.

^
PUNTO 4

Area dedicated to the Ermita de la Antigua (360º)

At this point there is a small shed representing the roof structure of the Antigua hermitage, next to a table and a fountain.

^
PUNTO 5

The cross of Beloki

When you go up Mount Beloki you have to go round the cross three times and ring the bell. Tradition or legend say that if you do this you will be lucky.

^
PUNTO 6

Area dedicated to industry: basketry (360º)

The last point on this circular route is the basket weaving. The basket weaving industry spread mainly through the Eitzaga neighbourhood and was a very important industry before metallurgy.

What they are

When we do them

Would you like us to organise one for you?
